Apiculture Resources

These resources were submitted by a young bee-lover named Anthony, who thought they might be helpful to other school-aged kids who also love bees. Please note, ASD’s recommendation of these resources does not indicate an endorsement of the business. On that issue, we remain neutral. Have fun exploring!

Ava’s Flowers “All About Beekeeping and Flowers that Attract Bees”– An incredible resource submitted to us by bee-lover Anthony (thanks, Anthony!). We really like that Ava’s page has its own list of apiculture resources, PLUS a list of “Bee Research Labs Around the World” – very cool!

HalloweenCostumes.com “All About Bees” – This spooky website just so happens to have a really great bee resource page!

This resource was sent in by a young bee lover named Jessica, who recently joined her local Citizen Science Club’s summer program. The club has been learning about native plants and how vital they are to bees and other pollinators and Jessica wanted to share this resource with others. Thank you, Jessica!

Kremp Florist’s “The Role Bees Play in Pollinating” – talks about how bees pollinate flowers, why it’s important to the environment, and gives a great list of pollinator flowers.
